Volunteers are an essential part of the NACC family. Whether you have a few hours to give or would like to become more involved throughout the year, your time, talents, and support help make our rehearsals, concerts, and programs possible. We welcome singers, family members, friends, and community volunteers to join us in creating meaningful musical experiences for everyone.

  • Fundraising & Sponsorship Team
    Help secure grants, sponsorships, donations, and other fundraising opportunities that support NACC's mission.
  • Welcome & Care Team
    Welcome new singers, support hospitality, and help foster the welcoming community that makes NACC special.
  • Photo & Memories Team
    Capture and share photos from rehearsals, events, and community activities for our website, social media, and publications.
  • Community Outreach Team
    Help coordinate community performances and represent NACC at outreach events throughout the year.
  • Music Library Team
    Assist with organizing, preparing, scanning, and maintaining music for rehearsals and performances.
  • Decorations Team
    Help create attractive, welcoming spaces for concerts and special events.
  • Stage Crew
    Assist with riser pickup, setup, teardown, and other stage preparation.
  • Guest Services
    Welcome guests, assist with donations, sell raffle tickets, answer questions, and help create a positive concert experience.
  • Stage Management
    Support the coordination and smooth operation of concerts and performances.
  • Sound & Lighting
    Help operate or assist with concert sound and lighting systems.
  • Engagement Support (Music Includes)
    Help encourage participation and provide general support during Music Includes activities and performances.
  • Guest Musicians
    Instrumentalists and other musicians interested in collaborating with NACC for concerts and special performances

    NACC Participant Agreement

    Purpose

    This Participation Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for individuals participating in Northborough Area Community Chorus (NACC) activities, whether as singers, volunteers, guest musicians, or in other approved roles.

    By submitting a registration, the person completing the registration acknowledges that they have reviewed, or have had the opportunity to review, the Participant Handbook and agree to the terms of this Participation Agreement.

    Scope of the Organization

    NACC is a nonprofit, volunteer, community-based organization that provides opportunities for social singing, rehearsals, performances, and related musical activities.

    NACC is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment while making reasonable efforts to support participation within the scope of the organization.

    NACC does not provide personal care, medical care, supervision, transportation, or one-to-one assistance.
    Participants who require assistance with mobility, communication, personal care, safety, or emergency evacuation are responsible for arranging an appropriate support person. When necessary, that support person must remain available throughout NACC activities.

    NACC may establish reasonable participation conditions necessary to maintain the safety, well-being, and effective operation of its programs.

    Participant Responsibilities

    By participating in NACC, participants agree to:
    • Follow the policies, expectations, and Code of Ethics described in the NACC Participant Handbook.
    • Conduct themselves in a respectful manner that supports a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment.
    • Follow reasonable direction provided by NACC leadership during rehearsals, performances, and other NACC activities.
    • Follow applicable health, safety, and emergency procedures.
    • Arrange any personal assistance or support required for safe participation.
    • Communicate attendance, participation, or support needs as appropriate.

    Photography and Media Release

    Participants grant NACC permission to photograph, record, and use their name, likeness, voice, and image in photographs, video, audio recordings, concert programs, websites, social media, promotional materials, and other organizational publications without compensation.
    Media created by NACC remains the property of NACC.

    Participants  who do not wish their name to appear in concert programs or other organizational publications may notify NACC in writing before publication.

    Assumption of Risk and Release

    Participation in NACC activities is voluntary.

    Participants voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with rehearsals, performances, travel between activity locations, and other NACC activities.

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless the Northborough Area Community Chorus, its officers, directors, volunteers, employees, and representatives from claims arising from voluntary participation, except where prohibited by applicable law.

    Participant Acknowledgment

    By checking the acknowledgment box and submitting this registration, I certify that:
    • I have reviewed, or have had the opportunity to review, the NACC Participant Handbook.
    • I have read and understand this Participant Agreement.
    • I agree to comply with the terms of this Agreement and the policies and expectations described in the Participant Handbook.
    • The registration information provided is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
    • I am either:
      • the participant registering for NACC; or
      • the participant's parent, legal guardian, or other individual authorized to complete this registration and accept this Agreement on the participant's behalf.

    If I am completing this registration on behalf of another participant, I certify that I am authorized to do so.
