CODE OF ETHICS

NACC/Music Includes is committed to providing members with an environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment. Actions, words, jokes, or comments based on an individual’s sex, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or any other legally protected characteristic will not be tolerated. NACC/Music Includes encourages members to bring any incidents of harassment to the immediate attention of a Board Member, or the Artistic Director/s.

Definition of Harassment

Harassment is any behavior which causes distress, feelings of a lack of safety, or physical harm to another person based on their actual or perceived race/ethnicity, religion, age, gender, gender expression or identity, socioeconomic status, disability, sexual orientation, citizenship status, geography, place of origin, marital status, or familial status. Harassment does not need to have malicious intent; the impacts on the person reporting the harassment must be addressed regardless of the intent. Demeaning remarks, jokes, innuendos about anyone; or remarks about an identity group in the presence of any individual, not necessarily a member of the group mentioned, are also forms of harassment.

NACC PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE AGREEMENT

I hereby grant NACC permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration.

I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of NACC and will not be returned.

I hereby irrevocably authorize NACC to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo.

I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge NACC from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
